MarakiPos is one of the best POS systems in Ethiopia. Marakisoft has developed a versatile cash register software that is compatible with many different hardware devices including the new hardware which is being implemented by The Ethiopian revenues and customs authority (ERCA) for the taxation system.

MarakiPOS network capabilities:
Sales from different points can be stored directly into MarakiPOS database allowing many sales points to share the application simultaneously.
Different sales outlets that are located remotely can, at the end of a sales day, synchronize on a central database which makes it convenient for the central administration of branches located at different places.
Network synchronization
Network synchronization is the merging of structurally different database engines located at different servers to a central server.
MarakiPOS as a web-based system can be synchronized through many types of networks such as local area networks and wide area networks, which means MarakiPOS can work with a local network in your office or anywhere in the world.
MarakiPOS uses powerful synchronization tools to efficiently move data from sales point to the server without any data loss or failure. Synchronization usually takes a few seconds depending on the type of network used.
Exporting to external software (Peachtree)
Reports generated by MarakiPOS can be exported to other applications like excel. MarakiPOS also has a powerful interface tool to export data to accounting software like Peachtree if further accounting reports are required.
